How to Buy Industrial Valves from India

  1. Build a line-wise BOQ (type, size, rating, MOC, ends, qty, standards).
  2. Send via contact.html or quote builder.
  3. Confirm inspection, painting, and Incoterms (ex-works Ahmedabad / FOB Mundra / CIF).
  4. Approve GA drawings / datasheets when required, then proceed to PO.

Practical buying steps

1) Freeze size, MOC, rating, ends. 2) Attach BOQ or datasheet. 3) State city and Incoterms for export. 4) Ask for lead time and documentation list. 5) Confirm payment terms on the quotation before PO.

Specification fields that speed up quoting

Include nominal size, pressure rating (PN or Class), body material, trim if special, end connection (flanged RF, RTJ, wafer, lug, grooved, screwed), quantity, and required documents (MTC 3.1, ITP, GA). For actuated valves add fail position, air supply or voltage, and accessories.

Domestic vs export

Domestic orders need GSTIN and delivery city. Export orders need Incoterms, destination port/airport, and packing notes. We state currency and lead time on the quotation after BOQ review.

Approvals

Fire-protection listings (UL/FM and similar) apply only to matching constructions and size ranges. Do not assume a commercial screwed valve is listed. Ask us to confirm the approval file against your size and ends before PO.

What happens after you email

We acknowledge the RFQ, clarify missing fields, issue a line-item quotation, and share datasheets or drawings when requested. Production starts after commercial confirmation per the quotation terms.
