Features & Benefits
Economical Small-Bore Solution
Bronze globe valves provide reliable shutoff and throttling in 1/4 inch to 3 inch sizes at significantly lower cost than forged or cast steel valves -- the economical choice for plumbing, marine, and general industrial small-bore service.
Renewable Seat Ring
Screwed-in renewable bronze or gunmetal seat ring allows in-line replacement without removing the valve from the pipeline, extending valve life in throttling service where seat wear occurs.
Gunmetal and Bronze Corrosion Resistance
Gunmetal (LG2) and bronze (B62) castings provide excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, dezincification, and pitting -- outperforming brass and mild steel in marine, coastal, and potable water environments.
Compact and Lightweight
Bronze castings are significantly lighter than equivalent steel valves, reducing pipe support requirements and simplifying installation in overhead piping, shipboard systems, and confined spaces.
Screwed Bonnet with PTFE Joint
Screwed bonnet with PTFE tape or hemp-and-paste jointing provides reliable sealing without bolted joint maintenance -- standard for plumbing and marine service where bolt corrosion is a concern.
Inside Screw Rising Stem
Stem threads are inside the valve bonnet and protected from external contamination; rising stem provides visual position indication -- open when stem is up, closed when stem is down.
