Features & Benefits
Economical Bubble-Tight Shutoff
Rubber-lined body and disc edge achieve API 598 Class A zero visible leakage at a fraction of the cost of high-performance or triple-offset butterfly valves -- ideal for general industrial, water, and HVAC applications where tight shutoff is required but budget is limited.
Simple Robust Design
Concentric shaft and disc design with no eccentric offsets, no spring-loaded seats, and no complex sealing mechanisms provides long service life with minimal maintenance -- the valve type with the lowest lifecycle ownership cost for standard water and air service.
Wide Size Range
Available from 2 inch to 48 inch (DN50 to DN1200), covering the vast majority of water transmission, HVAC, and general process applications with a single valve type.
Replaceable Rubber Liner
Rubber liner is retained in the body and can be replaced in-line without removing the valve from the pipeline, extending valve life and reducing maintenance cost.
Low Operating Torque
Simple concentric design with rubber-to-metal friction results in low breakaway and running torque, enabling manual lever operation up to 8 inch and small gear operators for larger sizes.
Bi-Directional Flow
Symmetrical disc and liner design allows installation in either flow direction, simplifying piping design and reducing inventory -- one valve serves both directions.
