Features & Benefits
Extended Bonnet Design
Extended neck positions the packing gland above the frost line, preventing ice crystal formation on the stem seal and ensuring reliable operation during cryogenic cycling.
Cryogenic Seat Materials
Specially compounded PTFE/RPTFE seats retain sealing flexibility at -196 deg C, preventing seat cracking common in standard PTFE at cryogenic temperatures.
Anti-Static Device
Spring-loaded ball-to-stem and ball-to-body electrical continuity device prevents static charge accumulation during cryogenic fluid flow, eliminating ignition risk.
Fire-Safe by Construction
All-metal body, ball, and stem with graphite packing provide inherent fire-safe capability even when cryogenic fluids are present.
Drain / Vent Fittings
Body drain and vent ports allow complete evacuation of trapped cryogenic fluid before maintenance, preventing liquid expansion and overpressurization.
