Fixed Nozzle Desuperheater Control Valve for superheated steam temperature reduction by controlled water injection. ASTM A351 Gr. CF8 body sized for 400 mm steam line. Fixed nozzle spray design for near-constant load applications. Maximum turndown 3:1. Maintains final temperature within 50 °C of saturation. Used when spray water to steam line pressure difference is high. Steam side mounting flange typically 80 NB; water side flange 25 or 40 NB. Spray nozzle SS316 with optional Stellite.
