Features & Benefits
High Strength Ductile Iron
Ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7 (GGG50) provides tensile strength of 500 MPa and elongation of 7% -- comparable to cast steel but with superior castability, machinability, and corrosion resistance in water service -- rated for operating pressures up to PN16 and surge pressures up to PN25.
Metal or Resilient Seat Options
Metal-seated (bronze or SS316 seat ring) for general industrial and steam service; resilient seated (EPDM or NBR rubber seat) for bubble-tight shutoff in water and wastewater -- choose the seat type to match the application and budget.
OS&Y or NRS Stem Options
OS&Y (outside screw and yoke) rising stem provides visual position indication and keeps stem threads outside the fluid -- ideal for above-ground pump stations. NRS (non-rising stem) keeps the stem within the bonnet for buried service, reducing excavation depth and eliminating stem enclosure requirements.
Full Rubber-Lined Option
Optional full EPDM or NBR rubber lining of the body, wedge, and seat recess provides complete corrosion protection and bubble-tight shutoff for aggressive water, wastewater, and chemical service at a fraction of the cost of all-SS316 valves.
Replaceable Seat Ring
Body seat ring is replaceable without removing the valve from the pipeline, extending valve life and reducing maintenance cost in abrasive water service with sand and sediment.
Epoxy Coating
Electrostatically applied fusion-bonded epoxy coating (250--400 microns) to internal and external surfaces provides long-term corrosion protection in buried, submerged, and atmospheric water service -- complies with AWWA C550 and EN 14901.
