Features & Benefits
Crimped Ribbon Flame Quenching
Precision-crimped SS316 ribbon element creates a matrix of narrow channels that absorb heat from the flame front faster than the ignition temperature can propagate, effectively extinguishing the flame within the element thickness.
Deflagration and Detonation Protection
Element design and housing strength are matched to the flame propagation type -- deflagration elements for vent lines, detonation-proof elements for long pipelines with high flame speed potential.
Gas Group Matched Element Gap
Element channel gap (MESG -- maximum experimental safe gap) is precisely manufactured and tested to match the specific gas group (IIB3, IIB, IIA) of the protected process, ensuring reliable quenching for the specific gas mixture.
End-of-Line and In-Line Configurations
End-of-line models protect tank vents and atmospheric discharges; in-line models protect pipelines between process equipment and potential ignition sources such as burners, compressors, or relief valves.
Removable Element for Inspection
Bolted cover allows removal of the crimped ribbon element for visual inspection, cleaning, and replacement without removing the housing from the pipeline.
ATEX / IECEx Certification
Certified per ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and IECEx scheme for use in explosive atmospheres Zone 0, 1, and 2 with appropriate gas group marking.
