Features & Benefits
Double-Wall Steam Jacket Design
Inner body carries the process fluid while the outer welded jacket contains saturated steam or thermal oil, maintaining the process fluid temperature uniformly above its solidification point across the entire valve envelope.
Eliminates Solidification and Blockages
By maintaining wall temperature above the solidification point of sulphur (120 deg C), bitumen (150--200 deg C), or pitch, the jacketed valve prevents the hard deposits that permanently block standard valves in these services.
Welded Jacket Construction
SA-516 plate is welded to the inner body with full-penetration welds and PWHT per ASME Section IX, ensuring pressure integrity of the steam jacket and long fatigue life under thermal cycling.
Thermosyphon or Forced Circulation
Steam inlet and outlet connections are positioned and sized for either natural thermosyphon circulation (steam enters bottom, condensate drains from top) or forced circulation with external pump for high heat duty applications.
Same Internal Valve Design as Standard
The inner gate, globe, or ball valve uses the same proven trim, seat, and stem design as standard API 600 / API 6D valves, ensuring familiar operation and standard spare parts availability.
Insulation-Ready Jacket Surface
The smooth outer jacket surface is ready for direct application of external insulation and cladding without complex cutting or fitting around bolted jacket segments.
