Features & Benefits
Parallel Slide Disc Design
Two flat disc plates slide in parallel planes against matching seat plates. Unlike wedge gate valves, there is no wedging action -- eliminating seat scoring and ensuring tight shutoff even after prolonged throttling and particle-laden blow-down.
Erosion-Resistant Seats
SS316 seat plates with Stellite 6 overlay resist the erosive effect of high-velocity steam, condensate, and suspended solids during blow-down cycles.
Spring-Loaded Discs
Internal springs maintain disc-to-seat contact pressure, compensating for thermal expansion and ensuring leak-tight shutoff across the full temperature range.
Extended Bonnet
Extended neck bonnet design protects packing from high-temperature radiation and allows insulation of the valve body while keeping the handwheel accessible.
In-Line Repairable
Split-wedge or two-piece disc design allows seat plate replacement without removing the valve from the pipeline, reducing maintenance downtime.
