What is a pilot operated diaphragm solenoid valve?

A pilot operated diaphragm solenoid valve uses line pressure to assist the solenoid in opening and closing. The solenoid controls a pilot passage, which then allows system pressure to act on a diaphragm, providing reliable sealing with minimal coil power consumption.

What are the available port sizes?

What seal materials are available?

Standard seal material is EPDM for water and air applications. PTFE seals are available for chemical service. NBR (Buna-N) is used for petroleum-based media.

Are these suitable for steam service?

Yes, with EPDM seals rated to 140°C, these valves are suitable for saturated steam applications. For high-temperature steam, consult our engineering team for appropriate seal selection.
