Quarter-Turn Operation
Tapered plug rotates 90 degrees between fully open and fully closed positions, providing rapid operation and visual position indication.
Low Operating Torque
PTFE sleeve or lubricant film between plug and body reduces friction, resulting in significantly lower operating torque than equivalent gate or globe valves.
Full-Bore Flow Path
Full-bore plug valves provide unrestricted flow equal to pipe ID, minimising pressure drop and allowing pipeline pigging.
Non-Lubricated PTFE Sleeve
PTFE sleeve encapsulated between the plug and body provides bubble-tight sealing without sealant injection, eliminating maintenance of lubricant reservoirs.
Lubricated Sealant Injection
Lubricated design features sealant injection fittings that allow in-service replenishment of the sealant film, extending valve life in high-temperature or abrasive service.
