Features & Benefits

Bubble-Tight Rubber Seat

Rubber-encapsulated wedge and replaceable rubber seat ring in the body achieve zero visible leakage even when sealing against debris, sediment, and calcification -- outperforming metal-seated gate valves in raw water and wastewater service.

Debris and Sediment Tolerant

Rubber wedge flexes and seals around small stones, sand, and pipe scale that would prevent metal-to-metal gate valves from closing tightly -- essential for raw water intake, river crossings, and wastewater mains.

Non-Rising Stem (NRS) Option

NRS design keeps the stem within the valve bonnet, preventing stem exposure to ground contaminants, reducing excavation depth for buried service, and eliminating the need for stem enclosures in manholes.

OS&Y Rising Stem Option

Outside screw and yoke design provides visual position indication (stem up = open, stem down = closed) and keeps stem threads outside the fluid, preventing corrosion and easing lubrication -- ideal for above-ground pump stations and treatment plants.

Replaceable Seat Ring

Body seat ring is replaceable without removing the valve from the pipeline, extending valve life and reducing long-term maintenance cost in abrasive water service.

Ductile Iron High Strength

Ductile iron (GGG50) body and wedge provide the strength of steel castings with the corrosion resistance and cost advantage of iron -- rated for operating pressures up to 250 psi and surge pressures up to 350 psi.
