Steam Air Vent Valve -- Thermostatic Bimetallic WCB
Thermostatic bimetallic air vent valves that automatically discharge air and non-condensable gases from steam systems during start-up and operation. A bimetallic strip thermostatic element opens when cold to vent large air volumes during boiler start-up, then closes as steam temperature approaches saturation to prevent live steam loss. WCB carbon steel body rated for Class 300 steam service in power plants, process heaters, and steam distribution mains.
