Hinged Disc Design
Disc is hinged at the top of the body and swings open with forward flow, providing low pressure drop and full bore flow area when open.
Gravity-Assisted Closure
When flow reverses, the disc closes by gravity and reverse flow momentum, requiring no springs or external mechanisms.
Renewable Seat Ring
Replaceable seat ring allows in-line maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline.
Stellite Seat Overlay
Stellite 6 hard-facing on seat ring resists erosion and wear from flow impingement during closure.
Bolted Bonnet Construction
Standard bolted bonnet with spiral wound gasket allows easy access to disc, hinge, and seat for maintenance.
Horizontal Installation Only
Disc must swing freely with gravity -- valve must be installed with flow direction horizontal and hinge pin at the top.
