Features & Benefits
Triple Offset Geometry
Shaft offset from disc centre (1st), shaft offset from pipe centreline (2nd), and conical seating surface angle (3rd) ensure zero interference between disc and seat during opening/closing, minimising wear.
Metal-to-Metal Seal
Stellite or Inconel overlay on both disc and seat achieves bubble-tight shutoff without soft elastomer seals, making it suitable for high temperature and fire-safe applications.
Bi-Directional Tight Shutoff
Symmetrical triple-offset geometry provides equal sealing capability in both flow directions, essential for isolation applications.
Low Operating Torque
Non-rubbing metal-to-metal seal and optimised bearing design result in low breakaway and running torque, enabling smaller actuators.
Fire-Safe by Design
All-metal construction inherently fire-safe per API 607 -- maintains shutoff after fire exposure without relying on soft seals.
