Features & Benefits
Trunnion Mounted Design
Upper and lower trunnion bearings support the ball, eliminating seat overload in large sizes and high pressures. Enables low operating torque and long seat life.
Spring-Loaded Seats
Each seat is spring-energized toward the ball, ensuring tight shutoff at low differential pressures and compensating for seat wear over time.
Double Block and Bleed (DBB)
Independent seat sealing on both upstream and downstream sides isolates the body cavity, which can be vented through a bleed valve for pipeline maintenance safety.
Fire-Safe Construction
Primary soft seat for bubble-tight shutoff; secondary metal/graphite seat maintains shutoff after fire exposure per API 607 / ISO 10497.
Anti-Blowout Stem
Stem is retained by the body geometry and cannot be ejected under pressure, ensuring operator safety even with the actuator removed.
Emergency Sealant Injection
Body cavity sealant injection fittings allow in-service lubrication of seats and stem in the event of minor seat damage, extending valve life.
