Large Screen Area
45-degree Y-pattern provides a large screen surface area relative to the pipe cross-section, resulting in low pressure drop and extended cleaning intervals.
Bolted Cover with Drain Plug
Bolted cover allows screen removal for cleaning without removing the strainer from the pipeline. Drain plug permits blow-down cleaning of accumulated debris.
Perforated or Mesh Screen Options
Perforated SS316 sheet for coarse filtration; woven SS316 mesh for fine filtration. Screens are interchangeable.
High Open Area Ratio
Minimum 2:1 open area to pipe area ratio ensures low pressure drop at rated flow; 4:1 ratio available for applications where pressure loss is critical.
Differential Pressure Tap
Optional upstream and downstream pressure taps allow installation of differential pressure gauges to monitor screen clogging and schedule cleaning.
Magnetic Insert Option
Optional rare-earth magnetic insert captures ferrous particles that would pass through perforated screens, protecting downstream pumps and instruments.
