Frequently Asked Questions

When should I specify Class-1 instead of Class-2?

Class-1 is sufficient for normal water supply, plumbing, HVAC, and low-pressure compressed air where working pressure is well below 10 kg/cm2. Class-2 is for higher-pressure lines.

Is Class-1 suitable for drinking water?

Yes. Gunmetal (IS 318 LTB-2) resists corrosion and is widely used for potable water isolation.
