Application
FM Approved butterfly valves are specified on firewater loops, sprinkler risers, and deluge isolation where project specifications call for FM listing. Typical duty is water service with gear or lever operation and optional supervisory / tamper switch wiring to the fire alarm panel.
State wafer, lug, flanged, or grooved ends on the RFQ so the face-to-face and coupling match the fire loop drawing. Gear operators are usual above DN80; add tamper switch only when the fire alarm scope requires supervisory contacts.
