Application
Grooved UL gate valves are specified on fire distribution and sprinkler feeders where grooved ends match the pipe system. State NRS or OS&Y, listing requirement, and whether an indicator post is part of the line.
Grooved UL gates are common on underground and building fire distribution where welded flanges are avoided. Include any post-indicator or supervisory switch accessories listed beside the valve line.
