NAB Seawater Valves

Nickel Aluminium Bronze (C95800) gate, globe, check, ball, and butterfly valves for seawater cooling, ballast, and firewater systems. Superior resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and cavitation erosion.

Super Duplex Valves

UNS S32750/S32760 super duplex gate, globe, ball, and check valves for offshore process and seawater injection. NORSOK M-630 compliant with full ferrite/austenite ratio testing and impact testing at -46°C.

Fire-Safe Offshore Valves

API 607 fire-tested ball valves and butterfly valves for topsides hydrocarbon processing. Metal-seated backup for fire conditions. SIL rated for ESD shutdown service.

Shipboard Bronze Valves

LG2 (Gunmetal), Admiralty brass, and aluminium bronze valves for merchant and naval vessels. Compliant with ship classification society standards. For bilge, ballast, fire main, and domestic water systems.

What material is best for seawater valves on offshore platforms?
For seawater service on offshore platforms, two materials dominate: (1) NAB (Nickel Aluminium Bronze, C95800) — the traditional choice for seawater cooling, ballast, and firewater. NAB offers excellent corrosion resistance, anti-biofouling properties, and good resistance to cavitation erosion. (2) Super Duplex Stainless Steel (UNS S32750/S32760) — preferred for higher pressures and seawater injection systems. Super duplex offers higher strength and pitting resistance (PREN > 40) but requires careful welding and NORSOK M-630 compliance testing.
Do your marine valves have classification society approval?
Yes. Our marine valves can be supplied with type approval or individual product certification from major classification societies including DNV (Det Norske Veritas), Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas (BV), ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), and RINA. For offshore applications, we comply with NORSOK standards for material (M-630), valve (M-001), and piping (L-001) specifications.
What valves do you supply for FPSO topsides?
For FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) topsides, we supply: fire-safe ball valves (API 6D, trunnion mounted) for hydrocarbon process isolation, gate and globe valves (API 600/602) for process piping, NAB butterfly valves for seawater cooling, super duplex valves for seawater injection and produced water, control valves for process regulation, and safety relief valves for overpressure protection. All topsides valves are designed for the dynamic loading conditions of floating structures.
Can you supply valves for subsea applications?
We supply valves suitable for topside and platform-level installations on offshore projects. For true subsea (seabed-installed) applications requiring API 6DSS or API 17D compliance, we can provide valves through our specialty manufacturing partnerships.
