About ASTM A216 WCB valve bodies
WCB is the most common cast carbon-steel grade for industrial valve bodies. It covers a wide pressure–temperature window under ASME B16.34 for hydrocarbons, steam and water that do not require stainless or alloy steels. Trim is typically 13Cr, SS304 or SS316 depending on the fluid.
