Notes
- Basket strainer pressure drop increases as debris loads; size for clean DP < 0.1 bar and dirty DP < 0.3 bar at maximum flow.
- Duplex changeover plug is lubricated with MoS2 grease; do not operate changeover under zero flow to prevent seat damage.
- Quick-opening cover clamp torque must be applied evenly in diametral sequence to prevent cover distortion and leakage.
- For high-temperature service above 300°C, specify Inconel wire mesh basket to prevent oxidation of SS316 mesh.
- Drain valve must be opened slowly with downstream isolated to prevent pressurised debris discharge.
