Cryogenic Globe Valve -- Extended Bonnet LNG SS316

Technical Datasheet -- Extended Bonnet Globe Valves for Cryogenic Fluid Service

Document No.SV-DATA-CRGV-001
RevisionA
DateMay 2026
ManufacturerSupreme Valves India, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

Cryogenic globe valves with extended bonnet for liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and other cryogenic fluid service. Extended neck positions the packing gland above the frost line, preventing ice formation and seal failure. Austenitic SS316L (CF3M) body, disc, seat, and stem retain full ductility at -196 deg C. Cryogenic PTFE/RPTFE/UHMWPE V-ring packing retains sealing flexibility at cryogenic temperatures. Fire-safe graphite backup packing. Extended stem handwheel with cryogenic glove or gear operator. BS 6364 / API 598 / ASME B16.34 / API 600 compliant.

Technical Specifications
ParameterSpecification
Product TypeCryogenic Globe Valves
CategoryGlobe Valves

Materials of Construction
ComponentMaterial
Stainless Steel 316LASTM A351 CF3M (SS316L) body, disc, seat, and stem -- low carbon prevents carbide precipitation during welding; austenitic structure retains ductility and toughness at cryogenic temperatures
Stainless Steel 316ASTM A351 CF8M (SS316) body on request for non-welded, non-sanitary applications
Seat OverlayStellite 6 on SS316L seat for erosion and galling resistance at high-velocity cryogenic fluid discharge
PackingCryogenic PTFE, RPTFE, or UHMWPE V-ring set (tested for flexibility at -196 deg C); graphite braided fire-safe backup
