This datasheet describes duplex basket strainers with twin chambers and 3-way diverter plug for continuous pipeline filtration where shutdown for basket cleaning is not acceptable.

Notes
- Diverter plug must be operated only when differential pressure across active basket is at least 0.5 bar to ensure seat lubrication.
- Mechanical interlock is highly recommended for unattended or remote installations to prevent dual-isolation human error.
- Basket chambers are not pressure-balanced during changeover; brief transient pressure spike of <0.3 bar is normal.
- For viscous fluids (>500 cSt), specify heated jacketed body or steam tracing to prevent solidification during standby.
- Automated changeover actuator must include torque-limiting clutch to prevent plug damage if debris jams the diverter.
