Tilting disc (tilting wafer) check valves for horizontal and vertical pipeline service. Hinged disc tilts open with minimal obstruction at very low cracking pressure (0.02--0.05 bar), providing 30--50% lower pressure drop than equivalent swing check valves. Rapid non-slam closure on flow reversal prevents water hammer and pipeline vibration. Compact wafer or lug design. SS316, WCB, or NAB body. API 594 / BS 1868 / ASME B16.34 compliant. Optional spring-assisted closure for vertical installations.

Notes
- Installation orientation (horizontal, vertical upward flow, or vertical downward flow) must be specified by the purchaser for correct hinge/shaft and spring configuration.
- For vertical downward flow installations, spring-assisted closure is mandatory; gravity-only operation is not suitable.
- For high-temperature steam service (> 425 deg C), material upgrade to WC6 or WC9 body with Stellite seat overlay is required.
- For frequent flow reversal or pulsating flow (reciprocating pumps, compressors), spring-assisted closure is strongly recommended regardless of orientation.
- All valves are manufactured by Supreme Valves India as per our standard specifications.
