Notes
- Gunmetal CAC406 (BC6) is equivalent to C83600 per ASTM B584 and LG2 per BS 1400; confirm alloy if class society approval is required.
- For non-rising stem version, specify 'NRS' at order; stem threads are inside valve body and protected from seawater by packing.
- JIS flange drilling (5K or 10K) must match shipyard piping standard; 10K is not interchangeable with ASME Class 150 bolt circles.
- Marine coating system is epoxy primer 75 µm + polyurethane 50 µm; specify additional thickness for tropical or ice-class service.
- Class society inspection and certificate (NK, LR, DNV) requires advance notice and factory witness; allow 4 weeks additional schedule.
