Notes
- Diaphragm material must be selected based on CIP chemistry (caustic vs acid) and SIP temperature; PTFE is universal but less elastic than EPDM.
- Weir Cv is non-linear; factory calibration with actual process fluid is recommended for precise dosing applications.
- Tri-clamp ferrule size must match existing line ferrules (DIN 32676, SMS, or ISO 2852); specify at order.
- For absolute zero dead-leg requirement, specify block-and-bleed weir design with integral purge port.
- Diaphragm life is 500,000 to 2,000,000 cycles depending on stroke length and pressure; inspect annually.
