IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations)
IBR Certification – Mandatory for Boiler Service in India
IBR certification is legally mandatory for all valves used in boiler systems in India. This includes: steam valves, boiler feed water valves, blow-down valves, safety valves, steam traps, and water level gauges. IBR covers design approval, material certification, manufacturing inspection, hydrostatic testing, and stamping by authorized Boiler Inspector.
