Angle seat valves use a 90-degree flow path design that provides self-draining and high flow capacity with minimal pressure drop. The angled seat also provides a wiping action during opening and closing, making them self-cleaning and resistant to particulate fouling. They are ideal for steam, viscous fluids, and applications requiring thorough drainage.

How does the pneumatic actuation work?

Pneumatic angle seat valves use a piston actuator that pushes a plunger against a PTFE or metal seat. When air pressure is applied (for NC versions), the plunger seals against the seat. Spring return versions use spring force to close when air is released. The design allows large flow capacity in a compact size.
