Cast Iron Wafer Butterfly Valve PN16
Resilient-seated wafer-type butterfly valve in cast iron / ductile iron for water, HVAC, fire, and general industrial isolation and regulation.
The Supreme cast iron wafer butterfly valve is a compact, lightweight quarter-turn valve for water, HVAC, cooling, and general service. The concentric resilient seat (EPDM or NBR) provides bubble-tight, bi-directional shut-off and seals the body bore completely, protecting the iron body from the media. Built to EN 593 / API 609 with lever, gear, or actuator operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a wafer butterfly valve?
A wafer butterfly valve is a thin, flangeless body designed to be clamped between two pipe flanges using through-bolts. It is the most compact and economical butterfly configuration for on/off and regulating service.
Wafer vs lug butterfly valve — what is the difference?
A wafer valve is held between flanges by long bolts passing through the body; a lug valve has threaded inserts (lugs) so it can be bolted to one flange and used for end-of-line or dead-end isolation.
What seat material should I choose?
EPDM suits water, HVAC, and mild chemicals; NBR suits oils and hydrocarbons; Viton (FKM) suits aggressive chemicals and higher temperatures. The resilient seat is field-replaceable.
