High-Pressure Instrumentation Valves for Saudi Arabia Skid Packages

Instrumentation, sampling, and chemical injection skids supplied into Saudi Arabian gas processing and petrochemical complexes routinely call for small-bore valves rated well beyond standard ANSI Class 600 ratings. EPC packagers and instrumentation contractors increasingly source these high-pressure valves directly from Indian manufacturers to control lead time and cost without compromising on material certification.

1. 6000 PSI Aluminium Bronze Globe Valves

For high-pressure instrument isolation and bleed points, a 1" globe valve with an Aluminium Bronze body, SS316 trim, and a Monel seat is a common specification. The Monel seat insert provides excellent resistance to galling and corrosion in sour or brackish service, while the T-handle operator allows quick manual operation in cramped skid layouts.

2. Low-Cv Pneumatic Control Valves for Dosing & Metering

Skid designers frequently need a control valve sized for very small flow rates — a Cv of 0.32 is typical for chemical dosing or pilot lines. These globe-type control valves use an equal-percentage trim in SS316 for precise, repeatable throttling across the full stroke, and are paired with a spring-diaphragm pneumatic actuator for fail-safe operation on loss of instrument air.

Getting the trim characteristic and Cv right at the quotation stage avoids costly re-engineering later — we work directly from the instrument datasheet (ISA) supplied by the EPC's instrumentation department to confirm sizing before manufacture.

3. 20,000 PSI SS316 Ball Check Valves

For hydraulic control lines and high-pressure chemical injection headers, standard flanged check valves cannot meet the pressure class. A 1" SS316 ball check valve rated to 20,000 PSI, with a medium-pressure (M/P) tube connection and integral bonnet construction, is the preferred solution. The integral bonnet eliminates a potential leak path at the bonnet joint — critical for ultra-high-pressure service.
