PTFE lined valves isolate aggressive chemicals from metal bodies. The lining covers wetted surfaces — body bore, disc, and sometimes stem — so only fluoropolymer contacts the process fluid.

PTFE vs FEP vs PFA

PTFE — broad chemical resistance, economical
FEP — lower permeation in some services
PFA — higher temperature fused linings
