Jacketed Valve -- Steam Jacketed Molten Sulphur / Bitumen

Technical Datasheet -- Steam Jacketed Valves for Solidifying Media Service

Document No.SV-DATA-JKV-001
RevisionA
DateMay 2026
ManufacturerSupreme Valves India, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

Fully steam-jacketed gate, globe, and ball valves for molten sulphur, bitumen, pitch, and other solidifying media. Inner body carries process fluid; outer welded steam jacket (SA-516 plate, full-penetrement welds with PWHT per ASME Section IX) maintains temperature above solidification point. Flanged steam inlet/outlet connections positioned for thermosyphon or forced circulation. Inner valve uses standard API 600 / API 6D proven trim and seats. WCB, SS316, or WC6 inner body with Stellite seat overlay. Jacket rated for 10 bar saturated steam. ASME B16.34 / API 600 / API 6D / ASME Section IX compliant.
